Wolfpack lose tough game to Ingersoll
The Peewee AE Wolfpack travelled to Ingersoll on Tuesday night and we ran into a strong Express team who were waiting for us.
After a slow start we were able to find our feet and get control of the game. After a back and forth period, the Wolfpack was able to break the ice and get the games first goal. While on the power play Luke B, scored on a rebound off a hard shot from Noah S. Alex B also assisted on the goal. Paris was able to score and go up 2-0 in the early minutes of the 2nd period on a goal by Julian V. assisted by Nathan M.
Ingersoll was hungry and started to push back and before we knew it, we were tied at 2. After that Paris fell into penalty trouble in the 3rd and Ingersoll showed their strength by scoring on all of their power plays and skated to a 5-3 victory. Our 3rd goal came off a nice break out, which we were working on last practice, when Tyler G. made a great pass up the middle to Austin P. who skated in all alone and beat the Ingersoll goalie.
A tough loss, but a well played game boys. We'll try to get back in the win column Friday night when Simcoe comes to town.
