Wolfpack Kicks Off Season With Big Win
In the first game of the season, Paris got off to a quick start, with a solid win over the visiting Plattsville Rage.
Austin P, kicked off the scoring just over a minute in, when he stepped in over the blueline and delivered a hard shot to the top corner. Two minutes later on a pass from Tyler A, Matt L made no mistake when he got in the slot and put the puck to the back of the net and put Paris up 2-0. Tyler A finished off a perfect 1st when he walked in all alone and made it look easy, as he put Paris up 3-0.
In a scoreless 2nd, the Wolfpack kept control of the game through solid defense, as the Rage couldn't find any room or space all night.
In the 3rd, the Wolfpack continued their dominating ways and were rewarded twice more. First on a great pass from behind the net from Owen H, too a wide open Caiden G, who buried it and put us up 4-0. Then with time winding down, Simon O finished off the scoring as Paris skated to a 5-0 victory.
Although not overly busy, Locas R posted his first shutout of the year with a strong showing in net.
Great game boys, next up are the Ingersoll Express, when we visit their barn on Tuesday night.
