Wolfpack Earn 2nd Win Over Express
The Novice Wolfpack picked up their 2nd straight win over the Ingersoll Express on Tuesday night. Coming off a hard fought 6-2 win Thursday night, Paris knew that they were going to get a strong effort from their opponents in their rematch.
The teams score a goal each in both the first and second periods. Entering the third period, Paris grabbed a 3-2 before the Express tied the game again at three with eight minutes to play. The Wolfpack capitalized on a later power play to take a 4-3 lead with two minutes to play. Paris would add to the lead on an empty net goal with a minute and a half to play.
Once again, the Wolfpack played a solid team defensive game that limited the Express scoring chances. Paris used their speed to minimize space and played strong on the puck.
Both forward lines contributed to the offense as five different players found the back of the net.
Up next for Paris is a home game on Thursday night against Simcoe.
