Game of the Century
The Paris Midget reps travelled to Ingersoll to take on the mighty Express in Omha play downs Tuesday night, and came away with a 1-1 tie in what is being called the midget game of the century.
After dropping game one at home 4-2, the Paris boys knew they would have to dig their heals in hard to fight in the series as Ingersoll finished in the top of southern counties and leading the league in goals scored. the game was back and forth all night with tight checking all around, the Paris kids were soaked with sweat in the dressing room after this one, everyone of the boys emptied the tank and fought to the bitter end. Even the coaching staff was drained after this contest as the head coach had to carry the assistant coach Chris H off the ice. Having said that the coaching staff has know these kids have the fight in them to compete every night with every team, as the coach walked out of the arena he saw parents so proud of their children tears were in their eyes. The series now shifts back to Paris Thursday night for game 3, with Ingersoll holding a slight edge 3 points to 1. Hold on to your bum cheeks this series is going to be a battle to the end with the Paris boys giving it their all and playing for Paris Pride!!!!!!!!
