The Paris Midget reps are on a regular season tare like no one has seen since the 1980's chatue bantams! With several key players missing from the line up due to injury all players have elevated their games.
On Friday October 14th the boys travelled to Dover to take on the mighty Sailors. with a belly full of perch the boys came out flying to a 5-1 victory. Cam S, was excellent in net stopping several point blank shots. The R brothers, didn't get robbed in this one with Austin netting a goal and Zach adding 2 assists. Madog Jordan P delivered several game changing hits on the blue line, other blue line stand outs in this contest were, soups on Aiden, whos the hardest one handed hitter around, and Jayden C, who plays like a man and shoots like a beast, several young girls in the crowd were seen pointing and googling over the young defensive stud. Next on the hit list was the Aylmer flames who came rolling into Paris on fire, the only problem was Paris goaler, Michael H, stoned em cold all night coming out with a door stopping shut out, final score was 3-0. stand outs in this one were Gavin O, who was flying here there and everywhere, Victor V, made several outstanding plays bringing the whole crowd to their feet more then once, and Zach K playing with an upper body injury was still steam rolling Aylmer players all over the ice, and making moves like a young Brent Gretzky. Not to be outdone up front was sophomore sensation Alex R, the kids a player, killing penalties and working some power play magic every game. rookie sensation Jake Z who was just getting off a 3 game suspension for biting another players ear off, came out flying and had the hit of the year, unfortunately its sidelined him, he's listed day to day as this article is being written, the kid has the best hair cut in the league though. Another rookie sensation Kyle silent killer K was rock solid on the wing in this one, he just looks at the opponent and they back off, no one messes with this kid. Next in regular season action the boys took on local rivals Ayr in a heated contest which ended in a 3-1 Paris win. The tsn turning point was Preston B, burrrrrrrrr it was cold, going in with the famous triple deke on a penalty shot early in the third, what a move what a goal!!! High Flying defenceman Parker C, was awesome in this one, the kid looks like a young Karlson from the Ottawa senators. the kids also been know to suit up for the local Paris Mounties Jr C club which is an impressive feat in itself being such a strong team rich in history in winning. anywho back to the game, with Austin R out with a suspension after showing his size and strength sticking up for teammates in a previous tournament and captain crunch sam M still sidelined with an upper body injury, the line up was infused with farm team call ups, Ashton J and Mathew B, who've both been leading the bantam squad to success early on this year, did a fantabulious job filling in and did not look out of place one bit playing against the big boys. Late in the game with Ayr pressing to tie the game, Baby wolfpacker Payton M went end to end and roofed it top shelf to give the paris boys some breathing room and a 3-1 lead. Preston B and Kyle K made outsanding plays on this goal as well. and last but not least, this coach would like to talk about one of his favorite players of all time, Dylan O, whos been hands down one of the most coachable kids ever, as well as standing taller then anyone for his teammates, what a team what a player. I would also like to point out the assistant coach on the bench with me this year is not Johnny cash like everyone thinks, but he may be dying his hair we aren't sure, his name is Chris H or gook, or as I like to refer to him my little monkey. most of this article is true some things may be exaggerated but I don't think so.
