LL2 EARNS SILVER!!!!!!!!!
PEEWEE LL2 EARNS SILVER IN THE AYR HOCKEY CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT!!

This was a chance for our kids to bond and to put into place what the coaching staff has been teaching.  Our roster is full of players putting forth full effort in practice and in the games.  The players are as follows:
TYLER A          JAYDEN C         CARTER D             DANIEL D          PETER F
MEREK G         NICHOLAS G     WILLIAM H            ADAM J             KARSON L MATTHEW L     QUIN M            MITCHELL M          KEEGAN P         DAVID P        HUNTER R

Paris played their first game against AYR and came out victorious with a 7 - 0 victory.  The second game we edged Barrie to a solid 8 to 1 win. In the third game we took on Port Stanley who had dominated all other teams.  In a thrilling back and forth game with great play by both teams Port Stanley came out on top 4 to 2.   Based on our record  Paris would move forward to the semi finals against Norwich...but not until some fun and team bonding would be had.
The team, both players and families gathered for some fun and camaraderie at the Mounties' game.  It was awesome to see friendships formed.  Regardless of the outcome watching the kids having fun and coming together as a team makes the tournament a success.
Sunday would begin at 11 am facing our nemesis Norwich.  Paris held off a hard charging Norwich team coming out victorious with a score of 3 to 2....and accordingly--to the Championship!!!  Paris charged out and took a 2-0 lead but New Hamburg pressed hard and eventually won 6 to 2.
Heads held high the players accepted their silver medals. In this tournament accomplishments were many including a lot of firsts; first goals, first hat tricks and first trips to a championship. All players undoubtedly deserved MVP honours this weekend.
A special mention to Jayden C who was injured in the first game but remained with the team cheering and motivating.
The Coaching Staff provided awesome guidance and motivation as did the parents and families.
  CONGRATULATIONS WOLFPACK!!
