Hard Work Leads To A Tie And A Win For The Week
Paris played in Plattsville on Sunday and against Cayuga in Paris Thursday this past week, earning a tie and a win.

Paris began in Plattsville on Sunday with another win in their sights, they would instead end up with a tie of 2-2.  Paris played well but had a couple of mishaps that led to the Plattsville goals.  Coming out with a point was still huge as it allowed Paris to keep a hold of first place in the Southern Counties Playoffs.

The first period went scoreless with both teams having multiple chances to score but to no avail.

Plattsville would get the first goal on the power play to make it 1-0.  Owen M would stay on his hot streak and score to tie things up 1-1 shortly thereafter.  Cameron T and Noah S would get the assists on the play.  The teams would head into the third tied 1-1.

Plattsville would again start the scoring on a bit of a bad bounce for Paris to make it 2-1. The Paris captain, Eric M would show his leadership and tie things up to make it 2-2. This is how things would finish up when the game ended.

Paris' record would sit at 4-1-1 atop of the standings heading into Thursday's match with Cayuga.

Paris got off to a slow start on Thursday night as they didn't seem to have the drive in the first period.  Cayuga would get two goals early until Kruz K would get his first of the night on a nice feed from Owen M and Cole R.  The score was 2-1 heading into the second.

Although there was no scoring in the second, Paris slowly started to dominate the Cayuga team.

Paris would tie things up when Connor K would grab his own rebound to make it 2-2.  Tyler G and Eric M would get the assists.  Kruz K would get his second of the night on a feed from Spencer C to put Paris up 3-2.  Cole R would put things away with a nice hard wrist shot to beat the goalie and make it 4-2.  Assisting on the play was Kruz K.

Good job boys!!  There was no quit!! You took pride in yourselves and your teammates and earned the win.

Paris now sits at a record of 5-1-1 for the playoffs, gaining 11 out of a possible 14 points. GREAT JOB!!

Paris will be heading to Cayuga on Sunday for the rematch and then have a battle with St George in Paris this coming Thursday.
