“Old Man” inspires Wolfpack to Victory
Injured defenceman Coleman “old man” L.’s presence around the team inspired the Wolfpack to a 7-1 victory over the visiting Simcoe Warriors in game 2 of their OMHA playdown series.

Paris opened the scoring just over 5 minutes into the first period. James carried the puck behind the Delhi net and found Ryan all alone in the slot. Ryan’s quick release found the back of the net.  Five minutes into the second period, Jame's whistled a slap shot from the blue line for an unassisted goal. Less than 1 minute later with Paris on the power play, Thomas won the draw back to Will and Will sent a slap shot of his own into the top corner. With just under 5 minutes to go in the second period, Ryan picked up his second of the night with assists going to Gavin F. and Thomas.  Ninety seconds later Paris increased their lead to 5-0 with another power play goal as Thomas won the draw to Ryan who slid a perfect cross ice back door pass to Gavin F. who then found the back of the net.  Simcoe would get on the board next to narrow the gap to 5-1.  With 14 seconds remaining in the period, Gavin F. floated a slap shot from the side boards over the Simcoe goalie to put Paris up 6-1 going into the 3rd period.  The Wolfpack would notch the only goal of the period off of a 2 on 1 rush when Will made a perfect pass to a streaking Josh who re-directed the puck under the Simcoe goalie.
