Bantams catch fire
Paris Bantams cruised to an 8-1 victory this evening over the Twin Center Stars, thanks in large part to the quick thinking of trainer Chris D. Right before the game Paris player Rob R who never gets robbed needed a quick helmet repair, that's when Chris came to the rescue, wielding a Philips screw driver like a 6 slinger! he had him fixed right up. And the kids responded to seeing the trainer work so hard by going all out all night.
The line of Preston B(one cool kid) Dalton D, and Jake killer Z led the way on the score sheet finding the back of the net 3 or 4 times maybe 5, so many goals I cant remember! 6ft 8" 125lb Mathew B netted two big goals as well. One was set up by player of the game Payton happy meal M. Who had a nice goal himself which was set up by team intern captain for the game Rob R. The line of James H, Kyle K, and Ashton B, played a strong physical game at both ends of the rink, Kyle K had such a nasty on when asked for an interview after the game his only quote was beat it creepo. His father Mike K also said beat it like Michael Jackson. those folks from Princeton are animals when they get mean. The defence core was lead by none other then Peter F, this kids as solid as a fridge, he was heard before the game saying to someone "my grandparents are here all the way from Mississauga and this ones for them", and boy did he ever play good. Another rookie sensation Connor C was so good I was worried the other team was gonna protest thinking he was a midget player playing bantam. He plays along side Jaedyn C whos been one of the heart and sole players all year, with a lot of the kids looking up to him for guidance and not just cause hes taller then most. Rounding out the strong Defencive play is Aiden C, this game the soup reminded me of a young drew doughty, making break out passes and skating on occasion when things were open for him. Kyle K was sharp in net holding the boys in when needed, other goaler Jacob f was a great team player keeping the kids motivated on the bench. Captain snap, Evan D is still sitting out a 6 game suspension for telling the ref he liked his lipstick. When interviewed after the game Payton M was asked if he missed his dad at the game and his response was yes. Also for Kenny C who wasn't sure what a hat trick is, its when one of the players scores 3 times in the same game, someone throws their hat on the ice like what happened tonight when his son killer scored his third goal the ice got littered with hats. Bill Z was heard saying after the game, maybe that kid is the mail mans, I never scored three goals ever. And on a last note the coach would like the mothers not to look so good its very distracting. hang on to your pants and stay tuned for further updates, these kids are players!
