The Peewee LL #1 brings their winning streak to 4 straight (3rd of the playoffs).
It was a tight game right from the start! Hespeler came to win, but "Danny Boy" was OUTSTANDING between the pipes!! He made stop after stop and held the Wolf Pack in.
After an exciting back and forth first period the score was tied at 0. "Top Cheese" Carson hit the score board making it 1-0 in the second period.
After making several stops Hespler finally got one by "Danny Boy" in the third period. Paris got it right back with a nice goal by "Speedster" Karson. The 3rd period was exciting for players, coaches and the fans with lots of back and forth hockey. With 4 minutes left "Digger" Dallas got a goal. The "D" were again just "awesome" both the "last second man" Lucas and the "D Man" Gabe did a good job at rushing the puck and coming back. "Force them to the Boards" Trenton and "Hold the Line" Oscar held the line and skated hard the whole game. Hard efforts were put in by "Never Quit" Cole, "Firecracker" Eric and "Wiry" Connor. Our new forward "Iron Man" Mitchell keeps hitting the game sheet game after game, scoring Paris' final goal with minutes left. Paris won 4-1.
Enough can't be said about "Danny Boy" who had the game of the season so far!!
Way to go Wolfpack!! Let's keep the momentum going as we head to Seaforth for the weekend for our final tournament. Everyone is looking foward to some great fun with the kids, parents and of course some hockey.
