Play Off Drive
Good Morning Pee Wee Rep Hockey Fans, Wow!!! What a barnburner at the Twin Pads last night! Paris leads for over two periods playing well, Burford ties it up with just under 8 minutes to play and then goes ahead on a goal scored just as the final buzzer sounded. This is a lesson well learned the hard way for our boys, never give up. Spirits were pretty low in the dressing room after the game I didn't realize 11 and 12 year olds could curse..

this much a situation that will be dealt with after the standard 24 Hour cooling off period. Hopefully it works on the coaches and parents combined. Ha ha The coaching staff explained to the boys that this loss and the way it occurred was just part of the game, no one player was to blame here and that sooner or later the bounce will go the other way.                            On a positive note the D moved the puck up well to the forwards who had several key scoring chances but just couldn't bury the biscuit. Maximus Goaltendus played well between the pipes and made some key saves when required to do so. We look forward to a rematch in Burford should be another high energy game. As Southern Counties play offs are concerned we are one and one and sit close to the top of our division well within striking distance of Hagersville and Port Dover with lots of hockey yet to be played. The coaching staff are very proud of these boys and look forward to both the OMHA's against unbeaten Simcoe and further climbing the Southern Counties ladder. Lastly fire eyed Wild Bill Zavitz has only two more games to serve on his controversial suspension and the team looks forward to his fury back on the bench soon! Yours in Hockey Coach Ed
