Lisa Dalpe Memorial Hockey Tournament
Well Good Evening Pee Wee Rep Hockey Fans, I've just got home from spending the weekend out at the Twin Pads helping fellow executive member Alex Faux operate the inaugural Lisa Dalpe Local League Hockey Tournament. This tournament was very close to my heart as Lisa was a very dear friend. It was a sincere pleasure for me to help out as I had the chance to be with Susan Sylvester (Lisa's Mom) Heather Shannon ( a long time dedicated PMHA volunteer) and Paul and Phil Dalpe.

24 Teams were registered including Paris's own Local League Novice 2 and 3, Atom 1 and 2 and Pee Wee 1 and 2 and I thank all those teams for showing there respect to this tournament by entering their teams. The tournament was a huge success and I must tip my hat to Alex Faux who had this tournament so well organized, Jeff Clarke, Joanne Novak and all my fellow executive members who helped run this event without a glich. When you have local and out of town coaches telling you what a great tournament this was and that they will be back next year it tells you, you have done something right. Congratulations to the Ayr Centennils Novice team 2, the Brock Wild Atom team and the Goderich Sailors as the Pee Wee Champions.

Thank You also goes out to Cindy Miller and Tyler Pelton for helping us sell a liitle less tha $1000.00 worth of 50/50 tickets. I would also like to thank all the out of town teams for participating and coming in as far as Southpoint, Goderich, NobleKing, East Lambton for without you our tournament would't have been complete. The coaches, managers and staff were all great to deal with and it was mentioned that the officiating and time keeping was top notch. In closing and on a personal note it was a sincere pleasure for me to be a part of this tournament and I can only hope to be part of it again next year.  Yours In Hockey Coach Ed
